Configuring augmented attributes for the object-centric Unearned Cash Discount app

In the Unearned Cash Discount app’s Knowledge Model “Unearned Cash Discount Knowledge Model”, configure any additional values you want for the account status (the Status attribute). You only need to customize the augmented attribute if there’s something important to add besides the supplied values.

The account status shows which accounts have been contacted by the account team. By default, each account has the status Open, and after the account team reaches out to the customer, the status is updated to “1st Notice” or “2nd Notice”. You can’t remove the existing status values.

You work with Knowledge Models in the visual editor in Studio, and any changes you make are applied when you publish a new version of the app.

Here’s how to set up any new status values that you want to add for the account status:

  1. In the Celonis navigation menu, select Studio.

  2. In the Studio overview, find the Unearned Cash Discount app in the space where you installed it, and click its tile.

  3. Go to the Knowledge Models folder and select “Unearned Cash Discount Knowledge Model”.

  4. Select the Augmented attributes category in the Knowledge Model navigation.

  5. Search or browse for the augmented attribute “Status” and click it to edit it.

  6. In the Possible values section, enter your new value in the box at the end of the list of values, and click Add. Repeat for each new value.

  7. If one of your new values is the new default value for the attribute, hover over the end of its row and click to mark it as the default. Alternatively, if there’s now no default value, check the box Set default value to null after the list of values.

  8. Click Save to save your changes to the augmented attribute.

  9. In the app navigation in Studio, find any view where the account status appears, and open it for editing.

  10. Click the settings icon for the column for the account status. Select Column Display, and edit the visual mapping to assign colors to your new values. The colors will be used everywhere the augmented attribute is used.

  11. In each of the app’s views, check that your new values are available in the Status dropdowns for the items, and displayed as you expect. Wherever the account status is used in a filter or analysis, update those to include your new values.

  12. When you’ve completed and checked your changes, use the Publish button at the top of the screen in your Studio space to publish a new version of the app.
