Skills Deprecation
Effective August 1st 2025, Skills features can no longer be purchased as part of a Celonis Platform license. Celonis continues to maintain Skills (by fixing bugs and ensuring that performance remains strong) but no further feature development will take place.
To continue working with your process improvement and automation use cases, we suggest using our Action Flows, Views, and/or Orchestration Engine features.
The Pop-up: Display information action allows you to show a simple informational window to a business user within the Action Engine. This is typically used to provide immediate context—such as a supplier’s phone number, a specific address, or internal instructions—without requiring the user to navigate away from their current screen.
Ensure you have access to the Action Engine and the necessary permissions to edit Skills.
Confirm that the Skill you are modifying is correctly linked to your data model.
In the Action Configuration section of your Skill, click the dropdown to select a new action type.
Choose Pop-up: Display information from the list of available actions.
Enter the text you wish to display to the business user. You can include static instructions or use placeholders to pull dynamic data from your Signal attributes.
Review the configuration and click Save.
