Enabling access to Celonis Process Management (CPM) from the Celonis Platform

Note

Users must have a Process Designer or Process Navigator account to access Celonis Process Management from the Celonis Platform Navigation bar.

Enabling access to Celonis Process Management

  1. In the Celonis Platform, select Admin & Settings > Settings.

  2. In Celonis Process Management > Enable navigation links, turn on the Enable access toggle.

  3. Enter a Process Designer URL in the Process Designer field.

  4. Optionally, enter a Process Navigator URL in the Process Navigator field.

    Tip

    Open Process Designer and copy and paste the Process Designer URL into the Process Designer field. If you're also enabling Process Navigator, open Process Navigator and copy and paste the Process Navigator URL into the Process Navigator field.

  5. Select Save.

    Process Designer and (optionally) Process Navigator can be accessed from the Celonis Platform Navigation bar. For more information, see Accessing Celonis Process Management from the Celonis Platform.

Removing access to CPM from the Celonis Platform Navigation bar

You can remove access to Celonis Process Management from Admin & Settings > Settings > Celonis Process Management by doing one of the following:

  • Turning off the Enable access toggle in Enable navigation links.

  • Deleting the Process Designer URL.

Note

If you delete only the Process Navigator URL, this will only remove Process Navigator from the Celonis Platform Navigation bar; Process Designer will still be available to admin and analyst users.

Enabling process model import/export between PAM and Process Designer

  1. In the Celonis Platform, select Admin & Settings > Settings.

  2. In Celonis Process Management > Enable integration with Process Adherence Manager, turn on the Enable data integration toggle.

  3. Enter your API URL in the API URL field.

    Note

    The API URL has this format:

    <base URL>/<collection>/<database>

    where: 

  4. Configure a REST API authentication token.

  5. Copy and paste your REST API authentication token into the Token field.

Accessing Process Designer

Users with a Process Designer account and Celonis Platform admin or analyst permissions can access Process Designer from the Celonis Platform Navigation bar.

Accessing Process Navigator

Users with a Process Designer or Process Navigator account and Celonis Platform member, analyst or admin permissions can access Process Navigator from More in the Celonis Platform Navigation bar.
