The Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app helps Procurement teams find purchase requisitions for which a contract is available but not used, identify patterns and root causes, and rectify issues going forward.
With the Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app, you can:
Identify and assess available contracts for requisitions that do not have a contract number reference.
Process purchase requisitions in one central structured place.
Update contract numbers in the requisitions.
The app helps you reduce your spend and improve requisition processing efficiency.
The Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app comes with these views:
Setup and Validation - this is a view where you can manage the values of the app’s variables, such as the global currency for the whole app, set service level agreements, and set filters and conditions for contract recommendations.
Contract Leakage: Open requisition lines - this view enables buyers to efficiently identify available contracts for the open requisitions in their scope. It includes KPIs and metrics for buyers to see the requisitions value, and status and aging charts to monitor them. Users can filter on their own scope and see contract recommendations for the requisitions that need their attention. They can forward purchase requisitions to a reviewer or check them in detail.
Contract Leakage: Closed requisition lines - this view enables buyers to efficiently identify missed contracts recommendations for the closed requisitions. It includes KPIs and metrics for buyers to see the requisitions value, status and aging charts to monitor them. Users can filter between rejected or missed recommendations based on material, plant, purchasing organization and see where future opportunities could lie based on Contract Leakage missed value.
Value Journey: Settings and Scope - here you define the minimum net unit price for order lines to be considered in the value journey view, you can also set your data reliability threshold and exclude dummy prices for your contract leakage calculation.
Value Journey: Value Framing - this view helps users investigate the value impact of contract leakage, through data-driven contract recommendations for historic purchase orders. A purchase order is counted as a valid contract leakage case if it does not have a contract reference, but matches specific criteria with one (or several) contracts.
Value Journey: Value Tracking - this view shows the purchase orders and purchase requisitions that are eligible for value tracking.
