Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite

The applications in the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite combine Celonis’ process intelligence, automation, and AI insights with the operational excellence UI of dedicated Sailfin apps, to help you achieve your working capital goals in an efficient and targeted way.

Collections and Dispute Management app (General Availability)

The Collections and Dispute Management app accelerates invoice collection through streamlined workflows, intelligent task prioritization, integrated dispute resolution, and automation. It acts as an enterprise-grade workbench for your Accounts Receivable collection team, making them more effective and efficient by leveraging an intuitive user interface and automation. The app:

  • Acts as a single source of truth for invoice information, emails, tasks, and disputes.

  • Intelligently prioritizes collection efforts using data-driven recommendations.

  • Automates dunning outreach and dispute resolution management.

  • Helps you to improve daily Accounts Receivable management and the key metric Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) by automating recurring tasks and centralizing relevant information.

Credit Management app (Limited Availability)

The Credit Management app helps your team to manage credit risk with smart, data-driven limits, real-time credit risk monitoring and integrated third-party data. Users can optimize credit operations through data-driven risk assessment, access centralized customer information, and activate streamlined approval processes. The app:

  • Provides data-driven credit limit recommendations.

  • Streamlines the credit review cycle from a central management hub.

  • Integrates third-party credit reporting to ensure limit accuracy.

  • Helps you to create more efficient and more rigorous credit processes to minimize risk and reduce friction.

Cash Applications app (Limited Availability)

The Cash Applications app automates the end-to-end cash application process, leveraging remittance aggregation, matching algorithms and dispute creation to free up valuable time and reduce churn. Your Accounts Receivable team can accurately track incoming payments and remittances, while the app simplifies and automates common manual steps to ensure accurate cash application. The app:

  • Provides automated remittance consolidation, including from emails.

  • Automates cash applications through intelligent payment and invoice matching.

  • Uses guided analyses and AI-enabled features to capture value.

  • Helps you to accelerate cash applications through intelligent automation and AI-enabled insights.

How the apps work

The apps in the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite can work with a case-centric data model or an object-centric data model. There are case-centric and object-centric versions of the app suite in the Celonis Marketplace.

Each Sailfin Accounts Receivable app in the suite is a premium app and is subject to a separate licensing fee. You’ll also need to involve a Celonis consultant to set up the apps. Talk to your Celonis account team before you download the app suite package, to arrange which apps you’re going to license, and arrange implementation with Celonis professional services.

Your source data can be from any source system that you can ingest into the Celonis platform, such as SAP or Oracle.

  • If you’re using object-centric process mining, you’ll need to set up some additional custom object types and event types to enable the use cases for the app. We’ll send you the instructions to do this.

  • For both object-centric and case-centric data models, you’ll need to set up a Machine Learning Workbench application with one or two Python scripts to handle the data from your model. We’ll send you the scripts.

The user interface for each app in the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite is hosted in the Salesforce cloud (force.com) in a dedicated Sailfin app environment. The Celonis data layer then acts as the backend. You don’t need to buy an additional separate Salesforce license for the Sailfin app environment - you’ll get a new environment as part of your license for the app. We’ll send you the instructions to configure your app in the Sailfin app environment.
