Studio feature availability matrix

Important

The Studio feature availability matrix shows the status of different Studio features across Analyses, Legacy (pre-May 2024) Views and Views.

Analyses and Legacy Views are now in maintenance mode so while we've included this information for completeness, we strongly recommend you use Views instead.

We also advise you to migrate any in use Analyses and Legacy Views to Views. For more information about our migration tooling, see Migrating Analysis to Views and Migrating Legacy Views to Views.

Embedded views

With embedded views being a heavily-used feature in Legacy Views, there are a number of uses cases that can be solved using new Studio Views.

Use Case	Views	Information
Embedding view below tabs to avoid accidental deletion.		You can now use Undo/Redo features in Views, as well as tabs.
Exclude component or set of components from filtering.		You can now use 'exclude from filtering' in component settings.
Grouping components.		You can now use the container component.
Group filtering components in an embedded view that can be collapsed/expanded via a button.		You can now use the filterbar, see Configuring a filter bar for your View.
Using different data sources (in the form of Knowledge Models) for different parts of the View.		You can now change the Knowledge Model for each component in the component settings menu.
Show set of components depending on user selection (conditional layouts).
Reusing components.		See View modules.
Simultaneous editing of the same View		This is not currently planned. However, we recommend creating a copy of the main View and then configuring your components in the copied View. These components can then be copied and pasted into the main View.
