What do I need 'Awaiting confirmation for?
A Signal should be marked as Awaiting Confirmation if is expected to disappear with the next data update (data model reload).
For the scenario in which a user takes an action in the source system, which should resolve the Signal as soon as this action is reflected in the Celonis Platform, the status Awaiting Confirmation was created. Especially when taking actions in the source system via the integration options provided by Process Automation, this can be helpful. It is recommended to use this status when a Process Automation workflow was executed successfully.
Effect:
Signals in such a status are not visible by default (unless the user explicitly filters on the status)
With the next data model reload, if the Signal is not resolved (contrary to expectations), it is reopened to inform the user that something unexpected happened.
