Use global tasks
Global tasks are used in various processes multiple times (in the same version).
There are two ways to create a global task:
As an object directly in the Tasks sub-navigation area.
While defining a sub-process, Select a task and click the Transfer to Repository button in the Detail Content area. The task will then be automatically transferred.
To insert a global task into a sub-process:
Create a regular task in a sub-process.
In the Detail Content area for this task, click Create reference under Name. Select the required task from the dialog box which opens.
Similar to the other objects, global tasks should be set up and approved before modeling the Subprocess, as the release workflow for a subprocess can only be initiated once all objects have the status “Released.”
